Get to Know Me: The Content Manager

I figured it was time you learned a little more about me.

My bank account needed a bit of a break after my Chicago excursion, so I took this week off from exploring any new locations. Don’t fear, I have a great local spot to tell you all about next week.

With this being my 20th post, I figured it was time you learned a little more about me as the content manger of this blog. So, here are 30 facts about me. Most are travel-related, but some are just fun.

Enjoy!

Hey, that’s me!

Full name? Erica Nolan

Are you named after anyone? I’m named after one of my mom’s high school friends. She really admired her confidence so she named me after her.

Have you ever had a nickname? What is it? I did in college. It was “Er-kah” (it’s more like the two sounds mushed together than an actual word). Not sure why or how it happened. I blame my floormates from freshman year.

Zodiac Sign? Scorpio

Where were you born? Schenectady, NY

Contrary to popular belief, this is not what my work space looks like.

Why did you start blogging? I’ve had about three blogs on and off since high school. I have a passion for travel so I decided this blog would be a good way to make sure I actually got out and saw the world.

What did you want to be when you were small? I wanted to be a vet…my fear of blood stopped that dream pretty quickly.

What was your first job? My first job was working as a server at a catering company in Saint Louis.

What is your dream job now? I’ve got a lot of dream jobs but, as of right now, I think it would be pretty cool to work at a U.S. Embassy of Ireland.

Are you an introvert or an extrovert? It depends on the day, but most of the time I’m an introvert.

There’s nothing quite as magical as going somewhere new.

What two radio stations do you listen to in the car the most? 105.7 The Point and 103.3 KLOU

If you could go back in time, what year would you travel to? I would love to visit late 19th/early 20th century England.
